THE 17TH SESSION WITH THE LORD IN HIS COURT (FROM 11.00 P.M., FRIDAY, 18TH FEBRUARY - 3.00 A.M., SATURDAY, 19TH FEBRUARY, 2011)

About Court Session with the Lord:

'Court Session with the Lord' is the weekly non-denominational intercessory program initiative of The Lord's Court International (LCI), a non-denominational intercessory ministry called by God to return His people to their knees in personal prayers and intercession for a one-on-one communion with God

LCI is an unusual ministry with an unusual mandate as contained in Joel 2:14-17 (CEV):  "I am the Lord your God.  Perhaps I will change my mind and treat you with mercy.  Then, you will be blessed with enough grain and wine for offering sacrifices to me.

Sound the trumpet in Zion!  Call the people together.  Show your sorrow by going without food.  Make sure that everyone is fit to worship me.  Bring adults, children, babies, and even bring newlyweds from their festivities.

Tell my servants, the priests, to cry inside the temple and to offer this prayer near the altar: "Save your people, Lord God!  Don't let foreign nations make jokes about us.  Don't let them laugh and ask, 'Where is your God?'"

A global ministry with members from all the continents of the world with the specific instruction from God to bring all the challenges of God's people that have led held them bound before Him in His court for adjudication and intervention, it is founded by Pastor Ray Festus Symperr, an intercessor by calling cum a television producer, publisher and information technologist by training.  

Dress Code:

Unlike the conventional prayer vigils which a sizeable proportion of people attend dressed in rags and untidy clothes, 'Court Session with the Lord' is not just one of those vigils, but the Lord's Judgement Valley where the Lord judges all the terrible enemies and surrounding nations of all serious-minded attendees (Psalm 9:11; Joel 3:12; and Amos 5:18-20).

As you come to plead your cause, therefore, it is highly required that you dress responsibly while attending this event in your chosen venue as an indication that you are on the offensive position as the winner against your accusers.  And by this singular attitude, your victory is guaranteed (Amos 5:18-20; and Obadiah verse 15).

How to Participate:

To participate or attend this weekly event is very easy and simple.

It takes the following steps to do this:

Step 1:

Indicate your intention to attend by joining the current edition on Facebook.  To do this if you are a Facebook user, search for the current session and then, click Join.  For example, type The 13th Session with the Lord in His Court on Search in Facebook and press Enter key. 

Step 2:

Choose a convenient venue where you wish to observe the event.  Suitably recommended is your personal or family altar in your home.  Please, ensure that your chosen venue is distraction-free.

It is expected that you fast on the day of the event (Friday) till it ends at 3.00 a.m. (Saturday) and then break.

Step 3:

Download or print out the current event's Special Session's Message and Order of Service for use at the event.

Please, make sure you adhere very strictly to all the instructions.

Step 4:

As much as we wish to rejoice with you and appreciate God for answered prayers, please, feel free to share your testimonies with us and others.

Rules for Participation:

1.   You must be born again;

2.   You must have been water baptized by immersion;

3.   You must have been baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongue;

4.   You must be a good companion of God's word;

5.   You must be one that flees every appearance of sin.  You must live a holy life;

6.   You must be one who forgives everyone that offends you;

7.   You must be a lover of God and those around you;

8.   You must be a person of integrity and honesty in all your dealings with God and man;

9.   You must be a committed member of a Bible-believing church;

10. You must dress responsibly when observing this event; and

11. You must be ready to fast on the day of the event (Friday) and break at 3.00 a.m. on Satuday when it is expected to end.

Note: You may observe this event with your spouse (If married) and/or household.

ORDER OF SITTING

O LORD, AS I PREPARE TO APPEAR BEFORE YOUR COURT TONIGHT

From the early hours of Friday, 18th February, preferably from 12.00 a.m., every truly participating attendee is required to begin his or her fast which will end at 3.00 a.m. on Saturday, and praying the following recommended prayer points intermittently as the Holy Spirit enables him or her.

Recommended Prayer Points:

Please, pray these prayer points (In Jesus' name):

1.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you for another opportunity to appear before your court tonight.

2.  Father, I thank you for the strength to wait on you in fasting and prayer.

3.  O Lord, I thank you for the victory you'll grant me tonight.

4.  Father God, I thank you for accepting my life tonight as a living sacrifice offered to you.

5.  Father, purge me tonight of anything in me that can stand as a stumbling block between you and I tonight.

6.  O Lord, my Father, let your mercy prevail over me and all that are mine tonight.

7.  O Lord, my God, show me your kindness and your mercy tonight.

8.  My Father, my Father, with your great power, do mighty things in my life tonight.

9.  O Lord, rescue me from the hands of my enemies tonight.

10. O Lord, my Father, terrify every enemy of my life tonight.

O LORD, AS I APPEAR BEFORE YOUR COURT TONIGHT (11.00 - 11.10 P.M.)

This is the time of opening prayers.

Special Instruction:

Please, pray the following recommended prayer points (In Jesus' name) while kneeling as a mark of surrender to God for, at least, two minutes each:

Recommended Prayer Points:

1.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you tonight for giving me this opportunity to appear before your court.

2.  Father, I offer my life to you tonight as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing.  Please, let it be acceptable to you.

3.  O Lord, my Father, treat me with kindness and mercy tonight.

4.  Father, terrify every enemy of my life tonight and grant me victory over my accusers.

5.  O Lord, my Father, avenge for me tonight over my enemies.

ALMIGHTY AND RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, I WELCOME YOU INTO YOUR COURT TONIGHT (11.10 - 11.30 P.M.)

This is a time of quality praise and worship offering to God for who He is.  It is meant to usher in the Almighty and righteous Judge, the Lord, into His court.

Special Instruction:

Please, you may do this by kneeling, calling Him by His names as you can remember, lifting up of holy hands before heaven, playing of available musical instrument(s), rolling on the floor, dancing, clapping of hands, etc as the Holy Spirit directs.

Before proceeding to do this, please, pray (In Jesus' name) the recommended prayer points below for, at least, two minutes each.

Recommended Prayer Points:

  

1.  Father God, accept my praise and worship offering to you tonight.

2.  O Lord, my Father, let my praise and worship offering reach you as a sweet smelling aroma.

3.  Father God, inhabit my praise tonight.

4.  O Lord, my Father, as I offer you praise and worship offering tonight, let every enemy of my life and all that are mine be terrified by fire.

5.  As I offer to you quality praise and worship offering upon your altar tonight, let every mountain that hitherto stood before me be brought low and be destroyed by fire.

6.  My Father and my God, through angelic ministration, teach me to give to you quality praise and worship offering tonight.

O LORD, I OFFER YOU THANKS TONIGHT (11.30 P.M. - 1.00 A.M.)

This is the time to give quality thanks unto the Lord for all that He did, He has done, He is doing and all that He will do.

You may compliment this by offering praise and worship songs or hymns with dancing, lifiting up of holy hands to heaven, rolling on the floor, etc as the Holy Spirit directs.

Please, read Psalm 9:1-end before proceeding with the following recommended prayer points.

First Segment  (11.30 - 11.50 a.m.):

For Self and Others:

1.    O Lord, I bless your holy name for the gift of life.
2.    O Lord, I thank you for my family and all that belong to me.
3.    Father, I thank you for your care and love for me always.
4.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for turning my shame to fame.
5.    My Father and my God, I thank you for the salvation of my soul.
6.    Father, I thank you because you have helped me to remain in your house till now.
7.    Father, I thank you for making me abundantly fruitful.
8.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for making water rush through every desert of my life (Isaiah 35:66).

13.  I thank you, Father, for turning every scorching sand of my life into a lake and for making every thirsty land of my life to flow with fountains (Isaiah 35:7a).
14.  O Lord, I thank you for giving me songs to sing and dances to dance throughout this year.
15.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you for not allowing my enemies to succeed in all their plots against me.
16.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you for making every barren womb fruitful.
17.  My Father and my God, I thank you for turning the sorrows of those trusting you for a suitable job placement, promotion, life partners, marital stability and financial breakthroughs into joy.
18.  O Lord, my Father, for every sick you sent forth your word to heal.  Thank you.
19.  O Lord, I thank you for giving me the strength to win victory.
20.  Father, I thank you for lifting me out of the garbage dump and giving me a place of honour in royal palaces.
21.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you for being my glorious crown (Isaiah 28:5a).

Second Segment (11.55 - 12.15 a.m.):

Your Country of Residence:

1.  O Lord, my Father, I thank you for my country (Mention her name).
2.  Father, I ask that you stretch forth your hand upon my nation (Mention her name) and bless her with your presence in all ramifications of development.
3.  O Lord, my Father, disgrace every strongman and power of my nation (Mention her name) and deliver her from his/her control.
4.  O Lord, release your fiery anger upon every terrible enemy of my nation (Mention her name).
5.  My God and my Father, send down your angels of war to fight for the release of my nation (Mention her name) from the hand of the cabals.
6.  Father, turn every dryness in my nation (Mention her name) into abundance.
7.  O Lord, my Father, afflict blindness on every Nebuchadnezer and Pharaoh of my nation (Mention her name).
8.  Grant her leaders, O Lord, the spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the governance of our land.
9.  Father, send down justice like showers of rain upon my nation (Mention her name) and her leaders.
10.O Lord, my Father, make my nation (Mention her name) strong and virile economically, politically, socially, industrially, etc.
11.Father, I pull down and destroy every evil altar that has hindered your light from illuminating my nation (Mention her name).
12.O Lord, my Father, help to rebuild every broken down wall of my nation (Mention her name) that has given access to her enemies to afflict her.
13.Father, let your blood and mercy avenge for my nation (Mention her name) for all the plunders that the enemies afflicted on her.
14.O Lord, my Father, I speak your peace upon my nation (Mention her name).
15.Father, do not abandon my nation (Mention her name) in the desert because of your great mercy, but always guide her with a cloud by day and a fire at night.

Interlude (12.15 - 12.20 a.m.) 

Before proceeding to the next session of these thanksgiving prayers, please, spend this time to thank the Lord for accepting your thanksgiving offering for yourself and others above.

Third Segment (12.20 - 1.00 a.m.):

The Lord's Court International (LCI):

1.   Father, I come to say, "Thank you" for The Lord's Court International (LCI).
2.   Thank you for how far you have led her in your assignment and mandate for her.
3.   Father, I ask that you continue to lead and guide her in the journey to the promised land.
4.   O Lord, I pull down every power and strongman that is determined to distract The Lord's Court International (LCI) in the course of her journey to the promised land.
5.   O Lord, my Father, I refuse every act of sin that will make you hand over The Lord's Court International (LCI) to her enemies.
6.   O Lord, be kind to The Lord's Court International (LCI) and bless her with your peace.
7.   Father, silent all the terrible enemies of The Lord's Court International (LCI) and let gross shame be their lot.
8.   O Lord, my Father, let the gates of The Lord's Court International (LCI) be open day and night to et rulers of nations lead their people to her with all their treasures (Isaiah 60:11).
9.   O Lord, let LCI's days of dryness and lack come to an end.
10. O Lord, my Father, make The Lord's Court International (LCI) beautiful and a ministry to be proud of for all time to come (Isaiah 60:15b).
11. Father, let people begin to flock to The Lord's Court International (LCI) from all over the world (Micah 7:12).
12. O Lord, work self-testifying miracles in The Lord's Court International (LCI) that will make her enemies shocked and dumb-founded (Micah 7:15-16).

The Church of God Universal:

 

1.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for your church and its leaders for your protection, mercies, kindness and growth.
2.    O Lord God, I thank you for the unhindered spread of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ on planet earth.
3.    I thank you, O Lord, for disgracing every enemy of your church.
4.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for honouring your word to build your church without permitting the     gates of the enemy to prevail against it.
5.    My Father, my Father, I thank you for sending your consuming fire to destroy every evil structure     erected by the enemy against your church.
6.    My Father and my God, continue to give your church victory and answer its prayers.
7.     O Lord, I thank you for disgracing every synagogue of satan and its operators.
8.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for your fire that keeps burning in your temple day and night.
9.    O Lord, I thank you for putting the enemies in perpetual shame concerning your church.
10.    O Lord, my Father, I thank you for making your church a solution provider to the problems of the     world.
11.    I thank you, O Lord, for preparing your church for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
12.    I thank you, O Lord, for demonstrating your power to the world through your church.
13.    I thank you, my Father, for raising a standard against the enemies when they come against your     church like a flood.
14.    I thank you, O Lord, for making your church strong again by smiling on it (Ps. 80:3 & 19).
15.    Father God, I thank you for feeding your church with the finest bread and with the best honey to the     fullness.

O LORD, I HAVE COME TO PLEAD MY CAUSE (1.05 - 2.25 A.M.)

This is a time of intense and militant intercession for yourself and others, your country of residence, The Lord's Court International and the church of God universal.

Special Instruction:

There are three segments in this session.  Please, make sure you do each prayer point (In Jesus' name) militantly for maximum impacts.

First Segment (1.05 - 1.25 a.m.):

Self and Others:

Recommended Prayer Points:

1.   Father God, help me to remain loyal every moment of my life.
2.   O Lord, my Father, bring me to your land, where food is abundant (Jer. 2:7a).
3.   O Lord, keep me safe from every evil plot of my enemies.
4.   Father Lord, I speak peace and life to every traveller this month.
5.   I abolish every covenant of death concerning any traveller.
6.   I cover the road and vehicles with the Blood of Jesus.
7.   Every arrow of death, I return it to sender.
8.   My Father, my Father, let your resurrection power come upon every dead area of my life (1 Sam. 2:6).
9.   O Lord, my Father, give me the power to enjoy unlimited victories this month.
10. My God and my Father, position me this month to enjoy galloping miracles and blessing that will cause my enemies to laugh with me.
11. Father, like you did for Hannah, Sarah, Elizabeth, etc, give me a new dancing step this month and this year.
12. O Lord, my Father, help me not to lie with the wise men of Babylon in this month of February.
13. My Father, my Father, give me all the power and strength I need for this month and this year.
14. O Lord, my Protection and Shield, i jump over every trap ambushed against me by my terrible enemies this month and this year.
15. O Lord, my Father, as I remain loyal to you, make my enemies to kneel at my feet this month and this year.
16.  O Lord, help me to recover everything I lost to the enemy in January Isaiah 33:25b).

Interlude (1.25 - 1.30 a.m.):

4.    My Father and my God, I thank you for the rapid spread of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ all over the world especially to the unreached places.
5.    Heavenly Father, I thank you for demonstrating your power for the world to see through your church.

O LORD, BEHOLD MY PETITION TONIGHT (2.25 - 2.45 A.M)

This is the time to present your personal petitions before the Almighty and righteous Judge for adjudication and intervention.

Special Instruction:

Write down your petitions on a clean sheet of paper and then, go on your kneel and read aloud Psalms 23:1-end while you pray the following recommended prayer points (In Jesus' name) with praise and worship songs intermittently for, at least, two minutes each.

Recommended Prayer Points:   Pray (In Jesus' name) as follows:

1.  Father, I have come with my petitions again tonight.  I thank you that you hear me always.
2.  O Lord, my Father, as I present these petitions before you tonight, embarass me with victories and testimonies.
3.  O Lord, terrify every strongman and my accuser that may appear to challenge your adjudication and intervention over these petitions tonight.

(You may add one or more prayer points if time permits as you are led by the Holy Spirit).

Now, I present my petitions...

Special Instruction:

While remain kneeling, lift up your petitions written on a clean sheet of paper to heaven and begin to worship God with thanksgiving songs or hymns.  You may express your true worship to God by rolling on the floor, playing any available musical instrument(s), speaking in tongues, etc as the Holy Spirit leads you.

After this, stand on your feet, lift up your hands and begin to thank God for adjudicating over the petitions and for granting you victories.  This shall be as led by the Holy Spirit.

Interlude (2.45 - 2.50 a.m.):

Please, spend the next five minutes to offer thanks to God for answered prayers accompanied by praise and worship songs, clapping of hands, rolling on the floor, playing of available musical instrument(s), lifting up of holy hands to heaven, etc as the Holy Spirit directs.
 

O LORD, HERE IS MY OFFERING TONIGHT (2.50 - 2.55 A.M.)

This is the time to offer your offering to God.

NOTE:

As a further proof of your faith that the Judge has granted your petitions and answered your prayers tonight, this is the time to bring your offerings to appreciate Him for what He did, what He is doing, what He has done and for what He will do in the future.

At The Lord's Court International (LCI), we deem it imperative to let attendees of this prestigious event know that God is not an extortioner.  He does not take  with force what you are not ready to offer to Him.  We believe, however, that He increases you when you give towards the expansion of His work on planet earth.

Hence, we do not make it compulsory for attendees to give towards His work at The Lord's Court International (LCI).  But if you are led by the Holy Spirit to give, we advise that you do so cheerfully and with a willing heart so that your seed sown can germinate, grow and bear good fruits in due season.

Special Instruction:

Now, if you are led to give an offering tonight, simply lift the offering before heaven and begin to pray to compliment the prayers of intercessors at the Central Program Co-ordinating Centre (CPCC) Nigeria.  Thank God for giving you an opportunity to give towards His work (In Jesus' name).

It is time to close The 16th Session with the Lord in His Court.

Special Instruction:

Gently go on your knees and begin to thank God for the success of tonight's event.  Thank Him also for the assurance of your miracles and testimonies (In Jesus' name).

In conclusion, say the benediction as follows:

"Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  Amen."
